About Us
Mountaintop SDA Church is a community of believers that believe in coming together to worship our Creator, loving each other, and setting aside time each week to rest in the assurance of God’s love. We believe in letting biblical principles determine how we do church and how we live our lives.
We desire to seek God through:
- Prayer: The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth. (Psalm 145:18)
- Scripture: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1)
- Obedience: Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us. (1 John 3:24)
- Fellowship: That they may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent me. (John 17:21)
28 Fundamental Beliefs
Seventh-day Adventists accept the Bible as the only source of our beliefs. We consider our movement to be the result of the protestant conviction Sola Scriptura—the Bible as the only standard of faith and practice for Christians.
Currently, Adventists hold 28 fundamental beliefs that can be organized into six categories—the doctrines of God, man, salvation, the church, the Christian life and last day events. In each teaching, God is the architect, who in wisdom, grace and infinite love, is restoring a relationship with humanity that will last for eternity.
Meet Our Team
Senior Pastor
Dr. Harold Bleckmon
Dr. Bleckmon has 35 years of pastoral experience, and has been the senior pastor at Prairie since 2014. He and his wife, Ingrid, have two children. Dr. Bleckmon has written two books: Stranded: My 20 Days at Sea, and The Disciple’s Guide to Life.

Patrik Simmones
Patrik Simmones loves the outdoors, having grown up in the Pacific Northwest. Patrik came to Prairie in 2018, after completing his MDiv from the Adventist Theological Seminary.

Walter Pradeshi
Walter Pradeshi is a mechanical engineer who works for the Bonneville Power Administration. Walter has been the head elder at Prairies since 2015, where he coordinates the spiritual care of church members.

Children's Ministries Director
Patrice Hardinge
Patrice Hardinge went to University of Oregon and earned a BA and MEd in Elementary Education, then taught in the Clackamas school district for 12 years. When her first child was born she felt called to be a full-time stay-at-home mom, and has been just that to Sharica, Jamisen and Widclyff. She stays connected to her passion by leading the Children’s Ministry programs at Prairie.
