Head Elder
Ministry Description
The head elder works closely with the pastor to provide spiritual leadership and support to the church family. This ministry includes assisting with worship services, encouraging members, coordinating the work of the elders, and helping ensure that the spiritual needs of the congregation are addressed.
As a trusted spiritual leader, the head elder may lead worship, preach, visit members, offer prayer, support those facing illness or hardship, and assist with baptisms and Communion services. The head elder also encourages unity, discipleship, and active participation in the life and mission of the church.
Through faithful service and a Christ-centered example, the head elder seeks to strengthen the congregation and help each person grow in a closer relationship with Jesus.
Quote
“My desire is to serve with humility, encourage unity within our church family, and help others grow in faith as we prepare for the soon return of Jesus.”
