Head Deaconess
Ministry Description
The head deaconess leads and coordinates the ministry of the deaconesses, helping create a caring, welcoming, and reverent environment for worship. Working closely with the pastor, elders, and head deacon, she helps organize Communion preparations, baptisms, hospitality, visitation, and practical support for members and guests.
This ministry also provides compassionate care during times of illness, loss, and personal need. Through prayerful leadership, careful preparation, and humble service, the head deaconess encourages others to use their gifts and helps ensure that the needs of the church family are met with dignity, kindness, and the love of Christ.
